Founded in 1989, After proudly serving the jewelry needs of our customers in Sumter, Clarendon, and Lee counties from our store on Bultman Drive in Sumter, Markides Jewelers is now a Home-Based By Appointment business. We specialize in a variety of services, including all types of jewelry repair, resetting, stone replacement, custom design, pearl and bead restringing, and jewelry appraisals, as well as watch repair and batteries. Our experts will assist you with any repairs or custom requests that you need and will gladly answer any questions. We take great pride in our services. Ring Sizing
We can size almost any gold, sterling, or platinum ring. All work includes a thorough cleaning and inspection, the removal of metal to reduce rings in size, or adding the same or higher karat metal to enlarge the ring, and soldering, using the same or higher karat solder, filing and polishing to a like new finish.
Jewelry Appraisals
All items are polished, weighed, described in detail, any stones are measured accurately and graded to strict standards, photographed, and valued for insurance replacement, Fair Market Value, or estate purposes, all information presented in an easy to understand document.
Custom Design and Resetting
We will work with you to create the item of your dreams in either gold, sterling silver, or platinum, diamonds, or precious gems.
Chain soldering
We can repair almost any gold, sterling silver, or platinum chain.
Watch battery replacement
We can replace the battery in almost any watch, including Invicta, Fossil, and Casio.
